Instant Credit Card Approval - Fast and Easy?

Author: Robert Alan

In the days before computers, you use to have to apply for credit cards in person at banks and retail establishments or by snail mail. Today, the Internet opens many doors for people, including applying for an instant approval credit card online. Even if computers are intimidating, you will find it fast and easy to apply online. Online applications are relatively simple, easy to use and require little information.

Computer-Friendly

You don't have to be a computer guru to take advantage of the instant credit card approval process. As long you know the basics about using the Internet, you are well equipped to getting approved.

Easy Apply Credit Card

Whether you find an instant credit card approval using the major search engines or you receive a mail offer through email or postal services, you must first get to the instant approval credit cards web site. Once there, most card companies keep it simple, guiding you through the entire process, which is unbelievably short. In fact, you may find areas on the Internet that provide an easy way for you to compare similar card offers. Use this function to your advantage, ensuring that you get the best instant approval credit cards available before applying.

Easy To Complete

Once you've narrowed down and selected one out of hundreds of instant approval credit cards, the rest is easy. You'll only need to supply basic information - your name, address, phone number and place of employment and social security number. You might also be asked for a previous address if you've lived at your present home for a short time. Sometimes, the instant credit card approval will ask for the number of years you worked, as well as your gross monthly household income. And lastly, your social security number is required in order for the credit card company or bank to check your credit report. Credit card issuers base their approval on your credit report and FICO score.

Before pushing the "submit" button, be sure to read all terms and conditions of the card. You wouldn't want to unnecessarily have an inquiry on your credit report, as this can lower your FICO score and inhibit you if you decide to apply for other instant approval credit cards.

If you've completed all required information and have good credit, then there's not much left for you to do. You can expect instant credit card approval. Notification will be processed within 30 seconds or a couple of minutes either through the web site or sent to you via email.

If you don't have good credit or you're not sure where you stand, then applying for an instant approval credit card online may not be as simple. Your application could be rejected. If this is the case, then speak to a credit card representative to find out why. They may be able to offer assistance that could lead to you getting instant credit card approval after all. It doesn't hurt to ask. Often times they may just want you to provide additional information. Although the instant credit card approval process has been slowed a bit, if approved, you will still get a card much faster than the traditional method.

Instant Credit

Now that you've been approved, your new instant credit cards will be in the mail delivered to your home in a matter of days. Depending on where you received your approval, you may also get instant access to your credit line. Some credit card issues provide you with your credit card number and expiration date to use right away for online purchases.

what is the easiest credit card to apply for and get approved with not so good credit?
me and my husband recently spoke with someone who told us that a good way to build our credit back up is to get a credit card and we have tried different ones like lowes, walmart, sears, things like that and we have already been turned down by lowes. so is there a credit card that would be easy for us to get?

I agree with some of the answers on here, some I don’t. Dolly made some good points about trying to find a card that has a decent interest rate, no annual fees, and any additional fees that may be attached with it, but the problem is that most cards that fit under that category are for people with bad credit. It’s unfortunate that it’s like that, but that’s just how it is. And with the current crisis with credit, it would be no suprise if credit card companies start tightening their requirements, if they haven’t done it already. While there are some cards that are easier to apply and get approved for, from my own experience and from what I’ve suggested to other people, is a secured credit card. A lot of major banks and credit unions offer these. You can think of this as building credit with a savings account, which is basically how it works. A deposit, usually tied to a savings account or certificate of deposit(CD) is placed upfront as collateral to secure a credit limit of the same amount. For example, you put up a deposit of $200, you get a $200 credit limit. Now this may seem like disadvantage, but really this works in your favor two ways: 1. The deposit gains interest just like a savings account, and 2. You have more control of increasing the credit line by adding to the deposit than you would with a regular card. The deposit wouldn’t be used to pay for the balance on the card, unless it got charged off and sent to collections, but since you’re trying to rebuild your credit, it’s a perfect way to “build” your own credit card. A good way to manage the card would be by making a small purchase ($20/month) and pay it off on time every month while adding to the deposit to increase the credit limit. The higher the limit you have, the better it looks when it reports on your credit. Usually after paying the card off on time and boosting the limit after a year, the card either converts over to a regular card or a better card’s offered, and most importantly, the deposit isn’t needed anymore and you get it back with interest added to it. So when it’s all said and done, you’ve rebuilt your credit and start receiving offers for more credit, have a credit card with a decent limit, and you’ll have some extra cash saved up in the process. It’s a win-win-win situation. I went ahead and posted links to several banks that offer secured credit cards, which I know should work for you. Hopefully this answer will help.

    Good Luck!

Open a secured credit card at a local bank or credit union.

If that isn’t possible you have a couple of other options. HSBC will likely give you a card. The interest rate will be very high but if you pay your balance in full each month then it will not matter.

First premier bank will also give you one but the fees are insane and the rates high as well. I would avoid this one. Applying for credit multiple times is killing your credit score.

what credit card company is easy to apply to if you have no credit history?
Im a full time college student and i have no credit history but i would like to begin to establish my credit so far i have applied 2 times this year for a credit card and i have been declined, i would like some help on whether if there is a company that is not as harsh with giving credit to people like me or whether i should try asking for credit with my debit card company (i am using chase debit card). please help and thank you.

btw i applied both times for discover student card.

  8. Aunty Doreen says:

You probably need to get a bank account first and you can only get a bank account in NZ if you have residency, a work visa or a student visa.

  9. Toni says:

New Federal Laws passed in February of 2010 are making it impossible for anyone under 21 to get a credit card.
You must get a parent to co-sign with you.
Make sure you pay in full each month – if you don’t – you could ruin your parents credit as equally as your own.
Carrying balances and paying interest can not only destroy your credit – it can devastate your life.
Employers check, so do landlords and car insurance companies.
Use it wisely – don’t let it use you.
